Replace Bathroom Ceiling Light Switch

Step 1: Gather Your Tools

New light switch
Screwdriver (Phillips or flathead, depending on the switch type)
Electrical tape
Wire stripper

Step 2: Turn Off the Power

Safety first! Before you start working with electricity, it's crucial to turn off the power to the bathroom light circuit. Locate the circuit breaker or fuse box and switch off the appropriate breaker or remove the fuse.

Step 3: Remove the Old Switch

Use a screwdriver to remove the faceplate of the old switch. Then, unscrew the switch from the electrical box and carefully pull it out, taking care not to disconnect any wires.
