Add Ceiling Light to Existing Switch

5. Ground the Fixture

Locate the bare copper wire protruding from the electrical box. Connect the ground wire from the light fixture to this bare wire and secure it with a wire nut.

6. Mount the Fixture

Carefully lift the light fixture and align it with the electrical box. Secure the fixture with the provided screws.

7. Restore Power

Turn the circuit breaker back on or replace the fuse. Flip the switch to check if the light fixture illuminates properly.

8. Install the Switch Plate

Refit the switch plate over the switch and secure it with the screws.
