New light bulb
Step ladder

Safety First

Before you start, make sure the power to the light fixture is turned off. You can do this by flipping the breaker or removing the fuse. If you're not sure how to do this, consult an electrician.

Step 1: Position the Step Ladder

Place the step ladder in a stable location directly below the light fixture. Make sure the ladder is tall enough to reach the fixture comfortably. If the fixture is very high, you may need to use an extension ladder.

Step 2: Remove the Light Fixture
