How to Replace Ceiling Lights with LED

Replacing old, inefficient ceiling lights with LED bulbs is a quick and easy way to save energy and improve the lighting in your home. Step 1: Gather your materials

Before you start, gather all the materials you'll need:

New LED bulbs
Stepladder or stool
Screwdriver
Wire stripper (optional)

Step 2: Turn off the power

Before you do anything else, turn off the power to the light fixture at the circuit breaker or fuse box. This will prevent you from getting shocked.

Step 3: Remove the old bulbs

Use a screwdriver to remove the screws that hold the light fixture in place. Once the screws are removed, carefully lower the light fixture so that you can access the bulbs. Unscrew the old bulbs and set them aside.

Step 4: Prepare the new bulbs
