How To Wire A Ceiling Light Without Earth

Step 1: Turn Off the Power

Step 2: Remove the Old Fixture

If there is an existing light fixture, you will need to remove it before you can install the new one. To do this, simply unscrew the nuts that are holding the fixture in place and carefully lower it from the ceiling.

Step 3: Connect the Wires

The wires from the new light fixture will be color-coded, with black being the hot wire, white being the neutral wire, and green or bare copper being the ground wire.
