Ceiling lights (2)
Electrical switch
Electrical box

Wire nuts or wire connectors
Electrical wire (14-gauge or larger)

Step-by-Step Instructions

Install Electrical Box: Determine the location for the switch and mount the electrical box using screws.
Run Wires to the Switch Box: Run electrical wires from the two ceiling lights to the switch box. Ensure the wires are long enough to reach both the switch and the ceiling lights.
Connect Wires to the Switch: Strip about half an inch of insulation from the ends of the wires. Connect the black wires together and secure them with a wire nut. Connect the white wires together and secure them with another wire nut.
